Many Thanks

I don't say it enough but I'm so grateful for you. Without your support, your interest in the arts, your appreciation of my aesthetic, your willingness to take 5 minutes to open this email and read it, I would not be able to create with the same freedom, provide for my family, and serve my community. Every time I write this newsletter I'm reminded of your kindness and I'm tremendously thankful.

Print Sale! Hyperlinks sighted ahead!

Let the word spread far and near! For five (5!) days, starting today through November 28th, all reproductions on the site are 20% off! If you've considered adding an image to your collection this is a great opportunity. Also, giving the gift of art is a fine idea too. (At least, I think so). Beauty never grows old. You can also tell that special someone (hint hint, nudge nudge) how you've always wanted an EVWIII reproduction under the Christmas tree. Just use this code when checking out: REP20

If by some miracle you didn't click on any of the links above, you can go to the print store here. Or here.

As I work quietly...

Commission season (Oct-Dec) is a time of painting with little sharing. Often these works are gifts for people and I have to keep them secret. I can share this one however, a portrait of Junior. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

The good side of commission season is my mind never tires of coming up with new paintings. So I just take some notes, make a sketch or two understanding I'll be getting to these ideas come January.

Go - Go - Go

Ernest IV doesn't stop. If awake, he is in perpetual motion. One of his favorite things to do is take things from one place and pile them somewhere else, tupperware lids, duplos, block puzzle pieces, books. He loves dirt, mud, throwing leaves, bubbles, being outside, and clumsily chasing the cat. We've promised TK (our orange tabby) that things will get better someday, but most likely they will get worse first. We often ask TK if it was still worth it coming in off the street. He just gives us the enigmatic, perhaps slightly disdainful look all cats have. Anyhow, here's our happy fellow in his Halloween costume.
See you in December!
God bless,
Ernest Vincent Wood III
